CALL FOR PAPERS: International Research Conference for Mass Communication, 2025
Hosted by Kabarak University’s School of Music and Media, the 4th International Research Conference for Mass Communication will be held from 16th–18th June 2025 under the timely theme “Artificial Intelligence and the Evolution of Mass Communication: Balancing Innovation with Media and Public Relations Ethics.” This scholarly forum invites academics, industry professionals, and students to critically analyze the transformative role of AI in news production, public relations, and content moderation. The conference promotes interdisciplinary discourse on both the opportunities and ethical dilemmas posed by AI technologies, including deepfakes and misinformation. With tracks designed to address emerging issues and practical applications, the hybrid event promises to foster rich academic dialogue and produce actionable insights. Selected submissions will be published in a special issue of the Kabarak University Journal of Research (KJRI), emphasizing its contribution to contemporary media scholarship.
