Fostering Innovation and Use of Technology in Mental Health

Preferred papers should explore digital mental health interventions (e.g., AI chatbots, VR therapy), telepsychiatry implementation challenges, mobile health applications for underserved populations, or ethical considerations in digital mental health services. Case studies demonstrating successful tech integration in clinical practice are particularly welcome.

Climate Change and Mental Health

We seek papers examining climate anxiety, disaster-related trauma interventions, resilience-building in climate-vulnerable communities, or mental health impacts of environmental migration. Research on eco-therapy approaches or policy frameworks addressing climate-related psychological distress would be valuable contributions.

Global Security and Mental Health

Preferred submissions include studies on conflict-related trauma, mental health support for refugees and displaced persons, terrorism's psychological aftermath, or peace-building therapeutic interventions. Papers analyzing mental health systems in post-conflict regions or security personnel wellness programs are encouraged.

Policy and Governance in Mental Health

We welcome analyses of mental health legislation, comparative healthcare systems, funding models for community mental health, or policy implementation challenges in low-resource settings. Case studies of successful policy interventions or governance reforms would be particularly relevant.

Cultural and Religious Diversity and Mental Health

Preferred papers explore culturally-adapted therapies, traditional healing practices integration, religious coping mechanisms, or mental health stigma across cultures. Research examining intersectionality in mental health care or decolonizing therapeutic approaches would be valuable.

Mental Health and Agribusiness

We seek studies on farmer mental health, stress interventions for agricultural workers, rural suicide prevention, or mental health impacts of agribusiness economic shifts. Papers analyzing community-based mental health programs in farming communities or climate-smart agriculture's psychological benefits are encouraged.

Enhancing Resilience and Mental Health in Educational Institutions

Preferred submissions examine school-based mental health programs, trauma-informed teaching practices, university student wellness initiatives, or educator mental health support systems. Research on digital tools for student mental health or inclusive education approaches for neurodiverse learners would be particularly relevant.

Each track welcomes empirical studies, systematic reviews, case studies, or innovative practice reports that demonstrate methodological rigor and practical applications for mental health professionals. Interdisciplinary approaches bridging multiple sub-themes are especially encouraged.
