Audience Engagement through Art and Technology

Preferred papers should explore how digital tools—such as social media, virtual reality, live streaming, and interactive platforms—are transforming the ways audiences experience, participate in, and respond to artistic content. Submissions may examine case studies, audience analytics, immersive experiences, or strategies for building and sustaining digital communities around the arts.

Papers under this subtheme should critically analyze the impact of digital transformation on artistic creation, production, and distribution. Topics may include the adoption of digital tools in performance and recording, the shift to online platforms, challenges in adapting traditional art forms to digital formats, and emerging opportunities for artists in the digital economy.

The Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Creative Process

Preferred submissions should focus on the integration of AI technologies in music composition, film editing, choreography, digital animation, or other artistic processes. Authors may explore theoretical implications, ethical concerns, collaborations between humans and machines, or innovations enabled by AI in creative workflows.

Cultural Appropriation and Authentic Representation

This track invites papers that address the complexities of cultural identity, representation, and ethics in artistic practice. Submissions may analyze case studies of cultural appropriation, explore the responsibilities of artists in representing marginalized voices, or offer frameworks for promoting authenticity, inclusion, and respect in global and local artistic expressions.

Papers should investigate how the performing and creative arts can adopt sustainable practices in areas such as set design, event management, costume production, and digital content creation. Topics may include eco-friendly production methods, waste reduction in performance spaces, sustainable funding models, and the role of art in advocating for environmental awareness.
