CALL FOR PAPERS: 16th International Research Conference for the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences

Kabarak University is pleased to announce a call for empirical works and case studies for the 16th International Research Conference for the School of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Scheduled to take place on the 23rd and 24th of June 2026, this hybrid event will be hosted at Kabarak University. The conference aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to explore transformative approaches to education while sharing findings on contemporary global challenges and theological education.

We invite scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students to submit papers across five specialized conference tracks:

1. Education
  • Sub-Theme: Navigating Transformative Education: Leadership, Learning, and Science for a Sustainable Future.
  • Tracks: Educational Leadership & Management, Pedagogy and Innovative Teaching (AI/Digital Education), Curriculum Design, and STEM/STEAM Innovation.
2. Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Sub-Theme: Navigating competency-based education: Leadership, learning sciences and the human disciplines for a sustainable and ethical future.
  • Tracks: Historical Ethics, Geography (Food Security & Climate Change), and Christian Ethics for Sustainability.
3. Theology
  • Sub-Theme: Cultivating the Whole Person: Theological Foundations for Hopeful Education.
  • Tracks: Holistic Education, Mental Health in Learning, Diversity and Justice, and Character Formation in the Information Age.
4. Languages, Linguistics, and Literature
  • Sub-Theme: International Research Conference on Trends and Emerging Issues in Languages, Communication and Literature in the Post-Modern Era.
  • Tracks: AI in Linguistic Discourse, Digitization of African Languages, and the Impact of Technology on Literature.
5. Psychology and Mental Health
  • Sub-Theme: Advancing Research and Practice in Psychology and Mental Health.
  • Tracks: Assessment and Diagnosis, Psychotherapy, Community Interventions, and Professional Ethics.
Submission & Publication

All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review. Accepted papers will be published in a Special Issue of the Kabarak International Journal of Research and Innovation (separate charges apply).

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 5th May 2026.
  • Full Paper Submission Deadline: 15th May 2026.
  • Registration Deadline: 5th June 2026.

  • Undergraduate Students: KES 1,000.
  • Kenyan Participants: KES 5,000.
