Translation of research is the process by which research findings are utilized or applied by health care providers, managers, and policymakers to guide practice. It serves to enhance the impact of innovative solutions generated through scientific research for the improvement of healthcare services. In the case of Nakuru County, numerous research, innovation, and developmental projects have been conducted in order to improve patient care, health administration, and policy over the years. While the impact of these projects on healthcare improvement cannot be gainsaid, there is need for a holistic perspective to their progress, challenges, outputs and recommendations by the leadership, management and other stakeholders in the county and beyond.
