About the Conference
The School of Science, Engineering, and Technology (SSET) International Research Conference at Kabarak University is a premier scholarly forum that brings together researchers, academics, industry experts, policy makers, and postgraduate students to share knowledge, innovations, and evidence-based solutions to contemporary challenges.
Anchored within the Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Outreach, the conference promotes interdisciplinary collaboration across science, engineering, technology, and community-based innovation. Conference Focus Areas.
The conference is structured into three major thematic areas:
- Environment & Energy – advancing locally led solutions, renewable energy systems, climate-smart innovations, sustainable development models, and policy frameworks for environmental stewardship.
- Pure and Applied Sciences – showcasing contemporary research in physical, biological, chemical, and mathematical sciences that drives scientific discovery and practical application.
- Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence – exploring green ICT, AI-driven systems, data science, cybersecurity, smart technologies, and sustainable digital transformation.
